I bought this necklace last minute to wear to a wedding and it was perfect. It has a beautiful shine to it and is made well. I generally can't stop picking at necklaces because I am not used to wearing them, but I put this one on and completely forgot it was there! Would definitely recommend.
This chain is exactly what I wanted. It’s substantial, with a nice weight, beautiful shine, and waterproof. What more could you want?
I saw this exact necklace with two coral charms while I was watching Canadian Football. Montreal’s QB’s fiancé was wearing it and I literally fell in jewelry loves with her necklace. My husband paused it a million times so I could get pics of it and try and replicate it with jewelry I feel comfortable wearing (kind materials and kindly acquired) so when I searched for the kind material first you’d imagine how freakin freaked out I was when I RANDOMLY found THE EXACT NECKLACE scrolling through their shop. I carted this with the two coral charms like the gal had and then I used the promo for text to get the free ring and I also carted a his and her chain ( it’s what I call em- just the same chain but in what color I want and size and his preference for his) and they’re all gorgeous. I am so happy with everything! Ahh I can’t wait to see what else comes out
I’ve wanted to get into necklaces for the longest time, but I can’t do silver or yellow gold because I have an olive skin tone, and I don’t want to buy anything that’s vermeil or gold-filled because I want jewelry that’s carefree and lasts. I’ve known about Ready-made for years but didn’t make the jump until I saw that they came out with some styles in rose gold. The 18” necklace is perfect for my petite frame (5’3) and it’s an EXACT match to my 10k rose gold class ring. I throw it into my toiletries bag and it hasn’t gotten crimped. My only feedback is to make a bigger end loop because it can be a little fiddly to hook the lobster clap even with my smaller fingers. Thank you RM!! I also have the twist ring, starry ring, and diamante satellite ring that I wear often.
I bought mine (20in) right when they launched in 2020, and have been wearing it pretty much every day since. Recently, my partner’s non RM herringbone chain had become crimped and tangled, so I decided to check if there was a 24in chain as he preferred one longer than mine. Was very happy to see that it was added!! His arrived and after comparing to my older chain, it’s clear that the two were nearly indistinguishable (besides length) despite mine being worn for 3 years. Thank you RM for the consistent quality and items made to last!!

My product just arrived and I am quite impressed. I have bought many steel/gold herringbones in the past and this is the best by far. Most steel/gold jewelry is dull and not shiny. This product is a high polish shine and not dull or cloudy at all. The light really reflects off of it and it looks like gold jewelry. Not only does it have the benefits ( eco friendly, durable, etc.), but it is also not too thin and has some flexibility and heft to it so it doesn’t look like it will easily kink. I used to work in a jewelry store so my standards are high. If all ready-made jewelry are made like this, you have a customer for life. All the best and I will be ordering again very soon. I promise you I’ve worn this EVERY single day for ATLEAST 3 years. It has not changed one bit. I never ever take it off. I am obsessed with this brand and am constantly looking for more pieces. I hope the rest of their products are the same 100000/10
Beautiful gold color that matches other jewelry perfectly. The engraving is perfect, it was all Roman numerals and it feels more personal since you can’t see it from far away but I know it’s there. I’ve worn it 24/7 and even in the shower.
So so cute and very durable! Might go up in length next time but otherwise perfect.

While we last longer than traditional jewelry, there are a few things to keep in mind.
Hardware Pieces:
General rule of thumb: All pieces are waterproof and chemical resistant, but be mindful of scratches. Refrain from contact with hard and rough surfaces. For this reason, we don’t recommend wearing rings and chains in the shower daily (too much inadvertent contact with loofahs and/or physical exfoliants).

Gemstone Pieces:
Our stones are lab made and function just like mined gemstones. As such, be extra careful when washing hands, and rinse jewelry with clean water after contact with sweat, soaps, and shower gels.
Yes, yes, yes. Ready-Made was created with the sensitive wearer in mind. We only use biocompatible materials that don’t harm living tissue. In fact, the materials we use are relied on extensively in the medical field as surgical tools and implants. We need to note that all stainless steel including our 316L stainless steel is composed of 5% nickel, but 316L is still certified as medical grade and biocompatible as the nickel is incorporated into the metal in a way that causes no skin reactions or harm. Less than 0.1% of the population can still have reactions to stainless steel, but you would know if this is true for you as something as ordinary as buttons on jeans would have caused an allergic reaction.
Ready-Made has the health of the planet as a priority. Our core metal, stainless steel, is one of the most reused and recyclable metals on the planet, with more than an 85% strength retention rate. Our high-tech color plating processes release no fumes into the environment and leave no residue or liquids behind. We also don’t rely on any chemicals to change the coating color of our pieces, relying instead on wavelengths. We use 100% recyclable cellulose envelopes and mailers, 100% recycled paper for our cards and boxes, and have moved away from relying on plastic packaging to transport and store our inventory.
Every manufacturer that we collaborate with is ISO certified, meaning that they meet certain standards in occupational health and safety, environmental friendliness and compliance, and quality assurance and efficiency. Our founding team also periodically visits each factory for internal audits. They are also in direct communication with all factory managers. Our hazard-free manufacturing processes neither release fumes nor leave behind residues.
We don’t use traditional metals for three main reasons:
1. Transparency. There’s a lot of talk about fair mined metals, but not a lot being done to prove this transparency. Getting to the source of gold and gemstones including recycled and reclaimed gold was a hurdle we weren’t able to overcome with certainty when we were starting Ready-Made and thinking about how to offer quality jewelry made with integrity. Vendors giving us their word didn’t feel enough.
2. The traditional manufacturing process for gold plating isn’t eco-friendly. Due to the nature of soft metals, traditional processes like wet plating and heat are utilized, and that can not only cause damage to the environment, but can also be harmful to factory workers.
3. We want to take the guesswork out of alloys (mixed metals). The materials we use - surgical stainless steel and titanium nitrite - are used in the medical field as surgical tools and implants. For the most part, our tissues don’t reject these two materials. With gold, silver, and brass, there’s always that risk of these alloys being mixed with metals that your body isn’t compatible with, leading to irritation.
We want to offer something that is timeless, looks like fine jewelry (thanks to our smooth-as-butter plating and detailed metalwork), skin-safe, sustainable, environmentally friendly, and transparent — all at a more universal price point that is comparable in price to mass manufactured, gold plated and costume jewelry.
